I’m Going The Distance to help patients with cancer at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

I know the feeling of having someone close to you affected by cancer very well, and the experience is scary and can make one feel hopeless and disillusioned with something you can't control. To help raise money for those affected by cancer, my mum and I are running/rowing/cycling 400+ kilometres each over the next 40 days. Our journey will hopefully raise awareness to support patients to get through theirs.

The funds raised will be donated to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse to help reduce the journey for patients from research findings to available treatment options. Through this fundraiser, we will enable the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse to reach more patients and provide much needed support and access to the highest level of patient care.

We are going to track every kilometre we complete this August using the Garmin App, and will use it to reach our goal for the month. Follow our progress and make a difference by helping us to achieve our goal!
